The silver plating of metal fine lines was first used in decoration

Nickel-plated silver plating is easy to polish, has strong reflective ability and good thermal conductivity, metal wire, conductive and soldering properties. Silver plating was first used in decoration. In the electronics industry, communications equipment and instrumentation manufacturing, silver plating is widely used to reduce the contact resistance of metal parts and improve the welding ability of metals. In addition, metal mirrors in nickel-plated line searchlights and other reflectors are also required to be silver plated. Since silver atoms are easily diffused and slipped along the surface of the material, it is easy to produce "silver whiskers" in a humid atmosphere, causing a short circuit, so silver plating should not be used in printed circuit boards. The silver plating solution currently used is mainly a cyanide plating solution.

Nickel-plated wire coatings are used to prevent corrosion and increase conductivity, reflectivity and aesthetics. Widely used in the manufacturing industries such as electrical appliances, instruments, meters and lighting appliances. For example, when copper or copper alloy parts are plated with silver, they must be degreased and rusted; then pre-plated with thin silver or immersed in a solution prepared from mercuric chloride or the like, and then mercuryated to plate the surface of the part. Mercury film; then the workpiece is used as a cathode, the pure silver plate is used as an anode, and immersed in a silver potassium cyanide electrolyte prepared by silver nitrate and potassium cyanide for electroplating. The industries such as electrical appliances and meters also use cyanide-free silver plating. The plating solution uses thiosulfate, sulfite, thiocyanate, ferrocyanide or the like. In order to prevent discoloration of the silver coating, it is usually subjected to post-plating treatment, mainly immersion, chemical and electrochemical passivation, plating of precious metals or rare metals or coating layers.

Nickel plating line use:

The gallstones in our daily use of the kettle are chemically silver plated. Since the silver plating is bright and reflective, the infrared radiation generated by the heat can be reflected back well to achieve a better thermal insulation effect. Therefore, the silver-plated hot water bottle has a better heat preservation effect.
